Title:Arcade Assistant Manager
Department:Cyber Quest
Reports to:Arcade Manager
Job Summary
Assist in overseeing a safe, secure, and team-oriented facility by supporting and enforcing all Kids Quest and Cyber Quest policies and procedures. Help hire, train, and lead a staff that will promote great customer experiences. Be actively and proactively involved in each aspect of daily, weekly, and monthly arcade operations. Support leadership of the arcade manager.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the oversight of arcade operations including: supervision of staff; staff evaluations; handle grievance procedures, corrective and disciplinary actions.
- Interview, hire, and train employees.
- Promote teamwork.
- Effectively handle customer service issues.
- Perform duties outlined in the teammate and supervisor job descriptions.
- Promote good relations with personnel from host property.
- Help maintain a relationship with Alpha Omega employees and their corporate office staff.
- Help employees develop strong customer service skills.
- Minimize the opportunity for theft by consistently maintaining secure cash and other forms of payment control throughout the arcade.
- Promote center-wide organization of supplies, merchandise, office areas, arcade floor area, and employee lounge.
- Actively review and audit all controllable goods (i.e. redemption merchandise, food, office supplies, computers and hardware, etc.)
- Perform weekly and monthly audits on all food and redemption merchandise.
- Help ensure work schedules for all employees are completed and available in a reasonable timeframe for all members of the staff.
- Ensure the timely completion and accuracy of all daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork.
- Ensure all arcade billing procedures are consistently followed.
- Play a role in weekly collection procedures.
Additional Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Background in computers and information technology.
- Strong math skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow and enforce established safety and procedural guidelines.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and transport bags of tokens or boxes of redemption prizes up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to help move video game machines.
Licensing, Background Checks, and other Certification Requirements
- Employees may be required to be licensed by host property.
- Employees are subject to a background check.
- May be required to pass a substance test, and also be subject to random testing for the duration of employment with Kids Quest.
- CPR and first-aid certifications must be achieved within first 90 days of employment.
- Must possess documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
