Bonus Holiday Hack!
The holidays are the perfect time to cuddle up and enjoy cozy, lazy mornings. When I was growing up my mother made matching flannel nightgowns for me and my sisters. It was such a wonderful tradition—one that I still smile about today! But, you don’t have to be a seamstress to pull off a similar tradition.
You Will Need
- Inexpensive, plush slippers
- Dollar store items that will make your kids smile
Simply purchase inexpensive bedroom slippers at any retail store—Target, Walmart, and TJ Maxx among others who sell pairs that are plush, cute and affordable. Next, go to a dollar store, or any drug store where they sell travel-size lotions, bath gels, hair clips, etc. Be sure to add some candy treats to the list for good measure, and tuck them all inside each slipper and then place them under the kids’ pillows on Christmas Eve. Guaranteed, those slippers will be on their feet Christmas morning!
